Auckland On Water Boat Show - Prizes up for Grabs

As the Auckland On Water Boat Show - Viaduct Harbour and Events Centre - September 24-27, draws closer, show organisers have announced some of the great prize packages up for grabs.

This year, show visitors who purchase their tickets on-line will have the opportunity to enter the draw to win 1 of 8 prize packages valued at $1,000 - two prize packages will be drawn each day.

They get to chose from a; Mercury 3.3HP two-stroke outboard, Hempel Paint voucher, Furuno GP1870F Chartplotter/Sounder and Transducer, Fusion Entertainment UD-750 Marine Stereo, Barz Optics – Sunglasses for the family, Hutchwilco Lifejacket and safety pack, Dometic – Waeco CFX 40-litre fridge freezer and Dometic vacuum sealer, Coastguard Education family package: Day Skipper Online x 4, Maritime VHF Radio Operator Certificate online x 4, Call sign and two Hutchwilco lifejackets.

Visitors can complete the visitor survey at the show to also win a 7-day charter departing from The Moorings base in Vava’u, Tonga with airfares from Auckland to Tonga for two.

With the exhibitor space for the show all but sold out, there will be a wide array of large vessels showcased in the viaduct marina.

Local builder Lloyd Stevenson will showcase an Elite 16m and 18m, while Scott Lane will have a 13m Elite Sedan and David Pachoud will have a new Roger Hill designed 20m Powercat on show.

Other brands such as Riviera, Bavaria, Caribbean, DuFour, Elan, Jeneau, Hanse, Dehler, Sealine, White Pointer, Moody, Arvor, Fountain-Pajot, Salthouse, Dickey and Sealegs will also have vessels on the water.

Also look for a wide range of models from trailerboat builders such as Tristram, Profile, Rayglass, Haines Hunter, Surtees, Stabicraft, FC Boats, Smuggler, Southern, Everyman, McLay, Quintrex and Senator.

Auckland On Water Boat Show CEO Michelle Khan say’s the show is designed to have something for everyone; the expert or commercial boatie and people new to on-water activities.

“The Auckland On Water Boat Show is THE show for everything marine and boating. Everything from a wide range of inboard and outboard engines, solar technology, electronics, navigation, safety devices, specialist marine services alongside great fishing equipment, kayaks, paddle-boards, and much more,” says Khan.

“Whether it be a large cruiser or a smaller trailerable boat, the show is the perfect place to come and to be able to see the very latest offerings and to talk with a range of experts and find the best solution for you.”

Mark the dates into your diary now, tickets will be on sale from 1st August, if you’re from Auckland grab a few mates or family and make a day, if you’re from out of Auckland, there’s plenty to see and do at the show and in the City of Sails, why not make a weekend of it, it’s your boat show.
