Graham Raspass’ Flagstaff Marine is delighted to have been appointed the NSW importer of the magnificent range of Beneteau inboard powerboats. This encompasses the more traditional Antares family cruisers, ever-so-stylish Gran Turismos, along with the dependable, strong and seafaring Swift Trawlers.

Rowell Marine, just below the iconic Newport Arms Hotel, on the famous Pittwater North of Sydney is to be the home of Beneteau inboard powerboats. This marina is located at 1 Queens Parade Newport, and overlooks the exceptionally picturesque water of Pittwater and Broken Bay.

Raspass commented, “We will have our sailing yacht operations from both Newport and our traditional Rushcutters Bay home, with the powerboats initially handled from Pittwater. Sydney Harbour based enthusiasts need not fear, however, for we will be conducting numerous open days on Sydney’s iconic harbour and can always arrange to bring a boat to you, if required.”

“We already enjoy a very strong relationship with our existing Beneteau sailboat owners. Interestingly, Beneteau’s experience is that many of our sailboat owners around the globe see the Swift Trawler as the ideal vessel with which to continue their love affair with the water, after enjoying the challenge of yacht racing.”

“There are 50, 44 and 34-foot vessels already in the Swift Trawler range. Soon there will also be the all-new Swift Trawler 30, and along with other vessels from the entire collection, we’ll be showcasing this exciting new craft at the 2016 Sydney Boat Show, in conjunction with the Victorian importer, Sundance Marine”, Raspass added.

“Other new releases that we will debut in Australia in 2016 are the all-new Gran Turismo 40 and Gran Turismo 46 with the patented air hull design. Theses two gems combine with their 49, 44 and 34-foot sisters to create a truly compelling range. They’re all about pace, space and on board liveability, which makes them ideal for Sydney and the East Coast of Australia. Features like easy access to the flybridge and hydraulic swim platforms make sure you’re using every bit of your stylish flyer.”

The Antares range has a more tradition hull form that offers proven seafaring capabilities, yet misses out on none of the refinements and ‘je nes sais quoi’ for which Beneteau powerboats have become known. Large bridges, with ample seating for pilot and guests, and voluminous main saloons are hallmarks.

“Flagstaff Marine already enjoys being part of the Beneteau sailing family and we’re truly ecstatic to now also be a part of the Beneteau powerboat family worldwide. Our unwavering goal is to let our new powerboat owners be embraced by our after sales service and all of the benefits associated with the Beneteau brand”, said Raspass.

“These bigger boats in the Beneteau Power range offer a wide range of models that afford clients the best in versatility, comfort, pace and personalisation, coupled with the unmistakable European flair and quality of build that has made Beneteau powerboats the leader in Europe.”

So when quality, value and re-sale matter, then look for the best choices in large powerboats being flown from the Flagstaff.
