Hall Spars New Zealand has launched a new website enabling customers and sail makers to order innovative HCB sail battens with ease

In line with the recent launch of Hall Spars New Zealand's HCB Battens, a product up to 15% lighter than competitors and with a flawless finish that extends sail-life, the team has created an intuitive web portal to service queries and orders.

'As sailors ourselves, we saw a gap in the market for innovation in batten technology,' says HCB Batten's manager Brad Marsh, 'For a lighter, higher performance product; one that would make the boat go faster while protecting your sails. In bringing our innovative HCB Battens to the market, we also wanted to package our offering in an easily accessible way. Our new web portal delivers a facility to find detailed information and to order with ease allowing you to spend more time on the water.'

The new website, www.hcbbattens.com, acts as an online portal enabling customers to find extensive yet clear information about HCB Battens and associated products including dimensions, pricing, specifications and diagrams.

Consumers can order products using a unique login that retains prior orders, pricing, and contact information. The website acts intuitively to only show product relevant to initial size specifications; reducing errors and administrative time.

'If a custom product is required, users can contact our team directly with any queries,' says Hall Spars NZ Operations Manager Dave Ridley 'With bases across the world, customers can expect responses on their time zone.'

About HCB Battens:
Hall Spars New Zealand's HCB Battens are unique in the methodology behind their construction. Engineered to a sail designer's specifications, the Hall Spars method uses alloy female moulds which give each batten a smoother finish than other products on the market.

Using an internal bladder to create vacuum pressure drives greater laminate compaction, eliminates voids, and produces a thinner product - while retaining the key characteristics of strength, stiffness, and durability.

The team behind the HCB Sail Battens have also developed a large range of inboard and outboard end fittings that are ergonomic, light and functional. Using Acetyl, Aluminium or carbon fibre, Hall Spars NZ has a solution from Grand Prix racers to round the world cruisers.
