This week he reviews the first week of action in Leg 2 as the teams leave Cape Town for Abu Dhabi:
Now it gets difficult, as they try to negotiate their way around the South Indian Ocean High and into the trade winds.
And so the Game Begins
Fast Start - It’s been a great start to the second leg, with some great sailing, big breeze, bigger mileage
and some fabulous footage from the first week as the crews got a beating. But while the sailing might have been tough, the strategy for the first couple of
days was straightforward.
