Don't miss the opportunity to take part in a webinar with Alistair Dickson (RYA Director of Sport Development), Liz Rushall (Rushall Marketing) & Mark Jardine (Managing Editor of Yachts and Yachting Online and Sail-World.com) to discuss The Future Of Dinghy Sailing and what it means to you on Tuesday 1 May at 7pm BST.

Due to falling participation trends and concerns about how best to invest in the future of UK boating and watersports, Liz was commissioned by British Marine to undertake a comprehensive review of participation trends and onwards recommendations for the boating and watersports sector. She presented a summary of her dinghy-relevant findings at this year's RYA Dinghy Show.

"As I processed the report and looked at trends, it was obvious that things are changing.", explained Liz. "We're not just looking at what's happening in sailing, it's the changes that are happening for consumers, especially young people. Whether you're running a sailing club or a business, it's vital to understand what is happening and how you can adapt to encourage more people into the sport of sailing."

This webinar is another chance to learn from the informative and highly thought-provoking talk and is targeted at clubs, class associations and anyone who has an interest in the future of sailing. Participants will be able to ask questions as the talk is going on, and there will be breaks where we will do our best to answer as many questions as possible.

"Our aim is to grow sailing and introduce young people to a sport that they can enjoy for the whole of their lives. We're living through a rapidly changing landscape and sailing needs to look at how to respond to the challenges to encourage more people on to the water. For a sport that embraces the very young to the very old, sailing has huge potential." said YachtsandYachting.com Editor Mark Jardine.

The talk will be about 1.5 hours long and everyone taking part will be sent a link to a recording of the presentation afterwards.
