Lagoon is pleased to announce its partnership with UVOJI, a water purification industry leader, for the sustainable integration of Oji Nautic 01 aboard its catamarans.

Drink pure, fresh water on board, without storage lockers overflowing with plastic bottles... now, it's possible! Today, through a partnership between Lagoon and UVOJI, all the Lagoon catamarans are integrating the Oji Nautic 01 by UVOJI. Lagoon is the only brand on the market to offer this innovation.

Oji Nautic 01 by UVOJI is an effective and reliable solution for water purification on board. This collaboration marks a step forward and a broader offering to enhance your experience at sea.

The Latest Equipment:

Oji Nautic 01 is equipped with a UV-C emitter, a device transmitting ultraviolet rays designed to purify water and to guarantee optimal water quality. Replacing the traditional, often limited, filtration methods, this device enables you to completely eliminate any bacteria or viruses that may potentially be present in the water. The advanced technology and functionality of the Oji Nautic 01 make it an ideal choice for Lagoon catamarans.

This new procedure, developed with the savoir-faire of Uvoji, guarantees instant disinfection, effective without the use of chemical products.

You'll find this system in the catamaran's galley. This innovation allows you to drink water directly from the tap, with a LED indicating the water's possible consumption. A revolution on board!

Technical Characteristics of the Oji Nautic 01:

  • Maximum Flow Rate: 8 L/min
  • Dimensions: Height 160 mm; Width 113 mm; Depth 118 mm

Lagoon relies on Uvoji for water treatment on board their catamarans!

During his press conference at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, Thomas GAILLY, Lagoon Catamarans Brand Director, announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Uvoji, the French expert in disinfection and treatment of water and surfaces using UV LEDs. This partnership is fully in line with the Beneteau Group's highly ambitious environmental strategy.

The agreement covers all future Lagoon catamarans, which will now be fitted as original equipment with the innovative Oji Nautic water treatment system. The partnership is based on geographical proximity, innovation and energy and environmental impact.

Lagoon, the world leader in cruising catamarans, is always at the forefront of innovation and commitment to the environment, offering its customers sailing yachts that are fully in line with eco-navigation. Lagoon has chosen Uvoji to equip its entire range of catamarans from 40 to 78 feet with a revolutionary water treatment system based on LED UV-C technology, Oji Nautic. This decision aims to phase out the use of plastic bottles on board their catamarans, reinforcing their commitment to reducing plastic waste and preserving the environment.

Thomas GAILLY, Director of the Lagoon brand, was very enthusiastic about the announcement of this collaboration, saying: "The UVOJI solution allows our owners to take to the sea without piling up numerous plastic bottles on board, while enjoying pure water throughout their voyage. A great step forward in the field of eco-yachting".

Adapted to the marine environment and different electrical installations, the Oji Nautic water purifier uses the germicidal action of ultraviolet light to effectively eliminate bacteria, viruses, and contaminants from tank water, ensuring pure water on board pleasure craft and professional vessels. Ultra-compact, lightweight, and silent, Oji Nautic provides users with a simple, fast, and effective solution for securing their drinking water requirements at sea and for a wide range of everyday problems.

"We are very pleased and proud of this 100% French partnership with the Lagoon Catamarans brand and the Beneteau Group, a world leader in eco-navigation. Our technology makes a significant contribution to preserving the environment by offering an ecological alternative to the consumption of bottled water and therefore to single-use plastic, a considerable source of ocean pollution. By offering yachtsmen the ability to consume water on board simply, safely, and efficiently wherever they are at sea, at anchor or in port, we are working alongside the Beneteau Group and SEIMI to offer a more environmentally friendly way of sailing." adds Thomas Zunino, UVOJI CEO.

SEIMI, the exclusive distributor of Oji Nautic systems for the maritime and river transport market in France, will play a key role in the implementation of this collaboration thanks to its expertise and experience.

"In our sector of activity, which offers privileged experiences of encounters with nature, it is necessary for all players to put in place initiatives, however small, to preserve it. The adoption of Uvoji products by Lagoon, the world's leading manufacturer of cruising catamarans, reflects their commitment to responsible sailing. Oji Nautic's UV-C LED water purifiers offer a reliable alternative to the use of plastic on board, while guaranteeing the quality of the water for safe consumption by yachtsmen. It's a great way to promote eco-responsible life on board, and what's more, it's a 'Made in France' solution!" adds Bastien REVOLAT, technical sales representative in charge of yachting OEMs.

This partnership demonstrates that renowned players in the boating industry can collaborate with technological innovators to reduce their ecological footprint while offering superior quality products to their customers.
