NZ Marina and Boatyard Conference - change of date

by New Zealand Marina Operators Association 21 May 09:13 NZST 23-25 September 2026
Marina and Boatyard Conference © New Zealand Marina Operators Association

We made a big effort to set dates for this year's NZ Marina and Boatyard Conference in advance, and at the time planned carefully to avoid the dates of another big event happening in Tauranga, AIMS Games.

Unfortunately we have since found out that the AIMS Games, which bring around 14,000 people into town, are held a little later than expected, and conflicts with our conference. We can see that on those dates accommodation is going to be in short supply and very expensive, and getting to and from our venue is also going to be difficult.

Therefore we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the conference.

The conference will be held from Wednesday 23 - Friday 25 September.

The updated schedule is:

  • Wednesday 23 September - conference and trade show, followed by a fun casual dinner
  • Thursday 24 September - conference and trade show ollowed by the NZMOA Awards Gala Dinner
  • Friday 25 September - NZMOA on Tour: an on-water visit to the best of Tauranga's marinas and boatyards

Registrations are now open and more details are on our website.

In a world of increasing prices, we are pleased that we are able to hold conference fees unchanged and also to offer a destination with reasonably priced accommodation options for this year's event.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
