New WA home for BRIG

by Sirocco Marine on 3 Mar 2015
The new HQ of BRIG is located in South Fremantle, all undercover. Sirocco Marine
South Fremantle is now home to a new BRIG headquarters, the only authorised BRIG agent in Western Australia.

Sirocco Marine Perth is headed up by seasoned boat proponent and long-time BRIG dealer, Mark Mawby and business partner, Nigel Warr, owner and managing director of Auto Masters in WA and South Australia.

The brand new showroom will house the state’s largest range of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) in the Sirocco, Williams and BRIG brands, all undercover meaning new stock is maintained in tip-top quality.

'It’s a great location,' states Mark, who has nine years’ experience with the brands. 'We are right on the main café and restaurant strip, so people can come and see the latest and greatest in RIBS and really make a day of it.'

Nigel is impressed with the position, as well as the ethos of the company. 'I wasn’t looking to get into a boat business, but when this opportunity came up with Mark, and Neil Webster, the Australian distributor, I jumped at it.

'I have been a boat owner all my life, I own a BRIG and I know what people are looking for in a RIB, whether it’s as a tender or a day boat. Having owned a lot of boats including a few BRIGs I was always impressed with the design, quality, performance, warranty and company support that BRIG offers.'

'Boating is a good fun, family past time, making people happy. Mark will manage the sales, marketing and after-sales service, while I will be managing operations. We will offer great customer service and great backup and warranty for all existing and new BRIG owners.'

According to Mark, the new showroom, which opens 2 March, will celebrate with an official BRIG party very soon.
'It is very exciting. WA is a great boating state and it’s our aim to show people how versatile RIBs can be. They can use their RIB for day trips, fishing, exploring the coastline, bay to bay, as an alternative to a tinny.'
