It's Thursday 1st January 2015 and we have already been making preparations for the 2015 RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show for the past couple of months, indeed Christmas and New Year have been somewhat of a blur and not because of the celebratory glass of port at Christmas or 7 pints of bitter at New Year, no, we have been working tirelessly in trying to make sure everything is in place for the Dinghy Show, whilst taking and completing orders and working on numerous winter services.

It's always a joy and pleasure to attend the show; we will again have our own stand this year, C56 just for your information, the amount of time and effort it takes to make the show happen is phenomenal and puts a pleasant albeit sometimes stressful strain on the Butler Boats Team.

We will be showing off our FRP Streaker, Composite Streaker, Farr 3.7 and Composite Miracle. The Streaker Class will be celebrating its 40th year and the show promises to be a fantastic platform for the Streaker to thrive into the new season, indeed the Streaker really has found its feet over the past few years, attracting people from other classes due to its performance, comfort and adaptability, the Streaker Class Association are a positive and forward thinking group whose passion for the Streaker should not be underestimated, please do have a look at our boat on display on Stand C66. The Streaker Class Association are a friendly bunch and will be more than happy to answer questions, go through specifications and anything else Streaker related.

The Farr 3.7 will again be making an appearance, we have composite hulls near to completion and there will be a lot more emphasis on what we can provide to our customer base this year, there are Farr Trial days in the pipeline, where we can provide the boat and all equipment needed to have a good go in the dinghy, wind permitting of course! The Farr is a real rough diamond and as yet is not an established class in the UK, however we think there is a real spot in the market for this dinghy and would dearly love to invite any interested parties to have a look, ask questions and give this dinghy the spotlight it deserves. Members of the UK Farr 3.7 Class Association will be in attendance to talk about the performance of the dinghy and its future in the UK.

Our continued relationship with the Miracle Class Association sees us exhibit our Composite Miracle once again this year (Stand C52) and our consistent work and development with the Miracle Class continues to prove that the Miracle is a fantastic all rounder with the adaptability to be raced in competitively, sailed in playfully or just sat in comfortably, whichever your desire the Miracle fits the requirement. We are now receiving enquiries from training schools interested in using the dinghy for coaching purposes, more evidence of the Miracles unique appeal.

2015 promises to be another eventful year for us all here at Butler Boats and we would be extremely proud to have you all behind us in our efforts to make sailing in wood, fibre glass or composite dinghies the most enjoyable experience possible. See you at the show!
