Savills, the well know estate agents and one of the world's largest real estate firms with 700 offices in countries around the globe, are sponsoring this year's Channel Islands Hobie Cat Championships.

The Championships are on the 6th 7th and 8th of July. Taking place in St. Aubin's bay, this is the 27th year the event has been held. The RCIYC is the host Club and organising body for the Championships which is open to all Hobie Classes - around 30 boats are expected to participate in the event with entries from both Jersey and Guernsey.

James Wilding, Commodore of the RCIYC, said, "The Club is delighted to be partnering with Savills for this year's C.I. Hobie Championships, which is certainly one of the major events in the Channel Islands sailing calendar. The sailing will be fast, colourful and competitive, we are very grateful to Savills for their sponsorship."

Geri O'Brien Jersey Director of Savills commented, "At Savills we take great pride in delivering services of the highest quality and like the RCIYC we recognise that people's diverse strengths combined with good teamwork produce the best results. Also, just like the RCIYC, we are prepared to go the 'extra nautical mile' to meet our client's objectives."
