Australia's premium luxury motor yacht builder, Riviera, is proud to announce that a brilliant example of its new long-range and luxurious Sports Motor Yacht collection will headline the company's showcase at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from 11 to 16 September.

The superb new 72 Sports Motor Yacht, offering four staterooms including a full beam midships master suite, and three bathrooms, achieved great acclaim during her World Premiere in May 2018. She also offers optional crew quarters or utility room immediately forward of the massive engine room.

With a build specification that includes 9,000-litre fuel tanks, 1,000 litres of water and standard water-maker, this is a motor yacht capable of true blue-water cruising over extended distances.

Her sister, the 68 Sports Motor Yacht, will be the centrepiece of a two-model red-carpet display at Cannes that will also include the sophisticated Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht.

Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst said: "Our new Sports Motor Yacht Collection is the result of extensive consultation with highly distinguished international designers, technicians and engineers combined with extremely experienced Riviera owners who were seeking a new style of motor yacht.

"Their dream was a blue-water yacht that combines speed and sport fishing and other water sports capabilities with the exceptional comforts of a foredeck entertainment centre, fully enclosed flybridge with internal stairs, a covered mezzanine dining area, ultra-luxurious interiors and the confidence of high bulwark and wide side decks. This new Sports Motor Yacht comprehensively delivers on their dream motor yacht.

"These motor yachts are brilliant examples of Riviera's evolution and constant refinement across our five collections."

The Riviera 68 Sports Motor Yacht delivers incredibly quiet performance and super-smooth running at speed.

The cockpit of the new Sports Motor Yacht offers everything a water sports enthusiast could wish for as well as plenty of space for relaxing and entertaining with considerable storage solutions.

A large barbecue unit forward of the cockpit includes twin barbecue grills, a central sink with mixer tap and an insulated moulded icebox.

Moving forward along wide side decks protected by high bulwarks, the expansive foredeck includes a large sunken entertaining area with seating for eight.

The elevated alfresco mezzanine forward of the cockpit includes a large under-cover dining area and is connected with the central U-shape gourmet galley through a stainless steel framed door and large awning window that when opened connects this area as one large lifestyle space.

A door on the port side of the mezzanine opens to a staircase leading down to the day head and shower. Adjacent to the day head is a utility room or optional crew cabin with direct access to the engine room.

Inside, the large aft U-shaped galley is designed to cater for the chef's every requirement while a plushly carpeted saloon features a large lounge to port and, to starboard, a leather dinette that seats up to eight people.

The enclosed flybridge with a state-of-the-art forward helm station features comprehensive engine and thruster controls and up to four navigation screens. Guests can relax on plush lounges across the entire starboard side. A stainless steel framed glass door and awning window connect the flybridge with a substantial rear deck and alfresco dining area.

Accommodation options include Grand Presidential or Classic layouts with three or four staterooms, including midships master stateroom, and three bathrooms.

Power for the Riviera 68 Sports Motor Yacht is provided by twin MAN V12 turbo diesel 1550, 1800 or 1900 engines, providing 1,140 kW (1,550hp), 1,324kW (1,800hp) or 1,397kW (1,900hp).

The three-stateroom, two-bathroom Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht is a true statement in design and luxury single-level living design for which Riviera's Sport Yacht series is highly admired and acclaimed.

Sun lovers will enjoy the forward deck sun lounge and, in the cockpit, a sunroof slides open so you can also enjoy the sunshine out of the wind. Boating aficionado's will appreciate the large tender garage which is accessed from the deep boarding platform.

The entertainer's cockpit flows through to the aft gourmet galley and spacious saloon through a large sliding glass door and awning window. The sports-inspired centre-line helm forward provides excellent visibility. A lounge in the port forward quarter beside the helm offers guests a panoramic view.

The accommodation deck of the 5400 Sport Yacht features a midships full-beam master stateroom with ensuite, a spacious VIP guest stateroom forward and the option for either a port side guest stateroom or an accommodation atrium lounge.

Power for the 5400 Sport Yacht is the joystick-controlled Volvo Penta D11-IPS800 propulsion system with twin D11 turbo diesel engines and IPS20 pod-drives (460kW/626hp each), with the option of the D11-IPS950 system (533kW/725hp each).
