Three months free storage at Multihull display area near Brisbane

by Multihull Central 4 Apr 2019 18:48 NZDT

Multihull Central celebrates the opening of the new multihull display area and Roodberg catamaran lifting trailer at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron with three months of free storage.

Last month, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron recently launched their new Roodberg catamaran lifting trailer, the first of its kind on Moreton Bay.

In conjunction with this new lifter, Multihull Central in partnership with RQYS is now filling a dedicated hardstand display area exclusively for the out of water storage and display of preowned cruising catamarans and trimarans.

Multihull Central also recently opened a new office located in the heart of the RQYS at the old marina office.

Three months of free storage is offered to suitable catamarans and trimarans who list to sell their boats through Multihull Central (Conditions apply).

This display now opens up a convenient location for multihull owners who moor their boats on Moreton Bay or in the Brisbane area, a cost effective local alternative when selling their boats. The facility also provides a central and convenient shopping experience for multihull buyers with a range of boats anticipated to be on display, close to Brisbane Airport, half an hour from Brisbane city while enjoying world class facilities of the RQYS including its restaurants, bar and onsite accommodation for traveling customers. This also provides a convenient location to conduct survey and sea trials from inside the protected waters of Moreton Bay which is immediately adjacent RQYS.

"We are very excited by this new catamaran lifter and display space," said Brent Vaughan, Director of Multihull Central, "Its is just an amazing club and provides a wonderful experience for a new boat buyer to shop, survey, sail and then cruise on their new catamaran all from one beautiful location."

Multihull Central, incorporating Multihull Yacht Sales Australia are the exclusive Australian distributors of Seawind, Outremer, Aquila, Corsair, and Takacat with offices in Sydney, Brisbane and New Zealand.

The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious yacht clubs with very active sailing divisions and sailing academy, while boasting 594 marina berths including dedicated multihulls berths.

Multihull Central and RQYS are located within Manly Boat Harbour which is the largest boat harbour facility in the southern hemisphere with a total of 3,000 dry standing and wet marina berths.
