Auckland On Water Boat Show: Weather doesn't deter crowds - Day 1

The Auckland On the Water Boat Show got underway on Thursday under threatening skies, which proved to be a minor deterrent to fans who were queued for the opening at 10.00am. The weather is expected to be fine for the weekend and plenty of interest is expected.

By most accounts from exhibitors the new venue is working well. Don't forget the show stretches all the way from Halsey Street, opposite the Emirates Team NZ base to Hobson Wharf, with the two main pavilions located on Te Wero Island and on Eastern Viaduct. Marina access is opposite the "Big Boat" in Quay Street.

The show has entry gates in the Halsey Street and Hobson Wharf ends
