America's Cup: An inside view of Emirates Team New Zealand like you've never seen before

Prime time Television New Zealand magazine show, Sunday, embedded a reporter into Emirates Team New Zealand for six weeks. The America's Cup champions gave her complete access to the team, base and chase boats.

Rebecca Wright, who was part of the TVNZ team in Bermuda, covering the 2017 win has produced an outstanding insight into the team, how its works and the personalities involved.

While outwardly, this 15 minute show might be seen by some as a promo piece for TVNZ's America's Cup coverage, but Rebecca Wright is a very experienced investigative report and was based in New York for several years, reporting mainly on political issues and other mainstream US news stories of international interest. All the "dirt" on the team is covered by this top investigative reporter.

In this video - from what we have seen of the inside of ETNZ's base, on my first and only visit for 30 minutes or so on the day of the launch - it seems to be a very accurate representation except the banter within the team which is almost constant, is underplayed.
