Emirates Team New Zealand have released a rare video showing the construction of their second generation AC75, built in the team's dedicated construction facility on Auckland's North Shore.

The video is much more than your usual team video - showing the start of the design, construction of the tooling and then the build, plus comment from those involved, and how the team coped with COVID-19 and the lost five weeks.

For the record the AC75 took 75,000 man hours to build, and over 90,000 hours to design. A team of 50 was involved in Te Rehutai's build after the need to catch up 8,000 man hours lost from the project's critical path due to COVID lockdowns in New Zealand in April 2020.
