Sadie and Arfon Pierce, Kathryn Loveridge and Jane Hodgson will probably never appear on YachtsandYachting.com as winning any sailing races but they managed to keep the grateful 45 competitors and support staff fed and watered at the Port Dinorwic SC Clwb Hwylio Y Felinheli Christmas Regatta Open on 3rd December.

As well as the galley staff the guard boat crews kept us safe consisting of Kyle Sheringham, Andy Long, Steve Chisholm and Pete Brook. The race management team preferred to stay anonymous not fearing any pending litigation (probably), but they provided 4 races over a shifty and cold North Easterly. F1 to 3 half on a favourable neap tide. 24 boats entered with a total of 30 competitors (40% female) - it was nice to see some doublehanders of various types out.

Unfortunately, Father Christmas could not make the prize-giving this year due to Menai Bridge close-by being closed.
