Monday, 27 February, 1900 hours UTC: TOPIC - How to create a Cohesive Crew...

Chris Brooks is the winning skipper from the most recent edition of the Clipper Race which finished last year. The 36-year-old British sailor grew up in the east of England crewing on whatever boat he could get his hands on, and 10 years ago completed a solo circumnavigation of the UK on an F18 catamaran.

His attention to detail and passion for tight teamwork were at the core of his success in guiding his team, Qingdao, to victory aboard the Clipper 70 race yacht.

Having already taught and coached thousands of people in sailing, Chris is a firm believer that with the right amount of effort and application, people can achieve anything. He enjoys watching his crew grow in confidence, skill and ability.

Most of us have the luxury of choosing who we sail with. The Clipper Round the World Race doesn't work like that. So Road To Gold is really interested in asking Chris how you create a cohesive team, especially when every Clipper skipper is given no choice about the group of amateur sailors they're expected to lead safely around the world.

Join Road To Gold for a free Zoom call and a 60-minute Q&A session with Chris to learn how to apply his hard-earned experience to your own sailing ventures.
