On Thursday the 17th of August special guests and NZ Sailing Legends Rick Dodson and Tony Armit are hosting a Book Night you don’t want to miss out on!

Come hear about what it was like to build your own boat and be the first Kiwi to sail around the World. Or the exciting life of an America’s Cup sailor, the trial’s of battling Multiple Sclerosis and finally competing in the Paralympics. As well as guest appearances from New Zealand Sailing Icons, Tom Schnackenburg, Joey Allen, and Tom Dodson.

If you love sailing you need to get your hands on copies of Rick Dodson’s “Storms Ahead”, and Tony Armit’s “Marco Polo”.

The evening will start at 5:30pm and entry is FREE! The RAYC Members Bar will be open throughout the evening and nibbles can be ordered from the Akarana Eatery.
