The Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS) is proud to announce some exciting new changes for its 2024 edition, with a new entrance location and a revamped marina layout.

Set against the backdrop of Mayflower Park, this year's event promises to be an unmissable experience for marine enthusiasts from across the globe.

In a strategic move to enhance visitor convenience and the overall show experience, the entrance to SIBS 2024 has been relocated adjacent to the West Quay Showcase Cinema, a departure from its previous location along Southampton's Town Walls outside West Quay's food court. This change not only facilitates easier access but also sets the stage for an immersive journey into the world of boating right from the first step.

Addressing feedback from previous attendees, the show's showcase marina is also undergoing a significant layout redesign focusing on a more zonal approach. This year, the marina will showcase vessels by type, making it effortless for visitors to locate and compare over 350 stunning craft. This initiative caters to both visitors and exhibitors by grouping different categories of boats more logically, increasing the available berths and expanding space for demonstrations.

"Our aim was to curate an environment that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our visitors and exhibitors. The new layout ensures that small power boats, sailboats, luxury power boats, multihulls, and demo boats each have their dedicated spaces, improving navigation and interaction within the show," explains Mark Ring, Head of Events, British Marine, operators of the Southampton International Boat Show.

In anticipation of a record-breaking year of boat demonstrations, the 2024 show has also increased these hands-on opportunities by over 20%. This enhancement ensures that visitors have the chance to test the waters with their dream boat.

"With more demo opportunities and all your favourites in one place, the reasons to visit have never been more compelling," Mark added.

Taking place from 13-22 September, the Southampton International Boat Show 2024 is not just an event; it's a destination for discovery, offering the perfect blend of adventure, innovation, and celebration. Tickets are now available, allowing you to plan your visit in advance and to ensure that you don't miss out on all the action and attractions.
