ePropulsion Americas, the global leader in marine electric propulsion systems and services, announced today its Navy 6.0 Evo and X12 has been selected as the electric propulsion option for Maxima Boats 620 and 630 model sloop tenders.

The Maxima 620 and 630 tender sloops are well-balanced models that combine both the nostalgic and the modern. They feature a smooth hull shape with a rope fender and an integrated swim platform. The swim platform is ideal for convenient boarding and disembarking and also provides protection against the motor's propeller. With the motor mounted in the well, it offers peaceful, silent operation. This sloop is also efficient, thanks to its unique underwater hull design. The stability and good visibility of the vessels ensure that boaters feel extremely comfortable while cruising.

"The Maxima line of tenders have a unique aesthetic that set them apart from other vessels in their class and the thoughtful design is maximized for safe and easy cruising," said Tom Watson, President of ePropulsion Americas. "We know Maxima customers will enjoy the quiet performance and reliability that comes from pairing the Maxima line with the proven Navy Evo electric outboard."

The Navy 6.0 Evo is a light-duty outboard that provides 6kW of power, while the X12 offers 12kW of power. The Navy Evo has a brushless direct-drive motor - ensuring it benefits from the high reliability and low operating noise of this technology. The ePropulsion X12 features a compact, fully integrated design, unifying electric steering, power trim/tilt, the electric control unit (ECU) and the controller within a single assembly, simplifying installation and optimizing onboard space.
