Still in holiday mode? Shaking off the New Year's celebrations? Don't let the summer haze make you miss out on New Zealand's largest multi-day keelboat regatta!

The iconic Bay of Islands Sailing Week is rapidly approaching, and there is just one week left to secure your spot on the start line, with entries closing on 13 January 11.59pm.

Since its inception in 2003, Bay of Islands Sailing Week has evolved into the country's premier sailing spectacle, drawing competitive sailors from across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific. This celebrated event has become the must-attend regatta for keelboats, trailer yachts, and multihulls, marking its place as a cornerstone of the Southern Hemisphere sailing calendar.

The highly anticipated regatta, scheduled for January 22-24, is set to once again transform the Bay of Islands into a spectacular showcase of competitive sailing.

While the country is currently experiencing a strong southerly surge, organisers are hoping more favourable conditions to deliver ideal racing conditions come mid-January.
