Melges UK Demos at Midlands Events this Spring

Melges UK will be showcasing its versatile, high-performance dinghies at events across the Midlands this Spring.

Haversham Sailing Club, Saturday 3rd May

First up is the Haversham SC open day in Milton Keynes on Saturday 3rd May from 11am. Sailors of all ages and levels of experience are invited to discover the joys of sailing a Melges 15 double-handed dinghy. Demonstrations and short taster sessions are available at Haversham SC, 24 The High Street, Haversham, Milton Keynes, MK19 7DX.

Northampton Sailing Club, Saturday 14th June

Two weeks' later Melges will be demonstrating both the Melges 15 and the Skeeta foiling dinghy at the Northampton SC open day. The event starts at 11am and it's a great opportunity to experience sailing these fun and surprisingly stable boats on a large stretch of inland water. Northampton SC is located at Pitsford Reservoir, Brixworth, NN6 9DG.

Rutland Foiling Festival 21st - 22nd June

This fun weekend celebrates all things foiling and is open to foiling dinghies, foil boards or wing boards. Melges UK will also have a demo Skeeta at the event so you can try out this new, versatile foiling dinghy. It's great fun to sail and suitable for both experienced and novice foilers. The weekend offers time trials, speed trials and handicap racing, as well as social activities on the Friday evening. It takes place at Rutland SC is located at Gibbet Lane, Edith Weston, Rutland, LE15 8HJ.

Melges 15 European Championships 10th - 13th July

July sees the inaugural Melges 15 European Championships in Dun Laoghaire. Running alongside Ireland's largest sailing event, the Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta and with an international field, it promises to be an exciting event. Melges UK has one Melges 15 remaining in stock following the Dinghy Show and it's available at the special pre-season rate. This includes everything you need to hit the water: mainsail, jib and asymmetric spinnaker, foils, over-boom deck cover and trolly, saving you over £1,200.
