The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda will bring its 2025 sporting season to a close with the final leg of the 52 Super Series, one of the world's premier professional grand prix circuits, taking place from 21 to 27 September.

Range Rover, already an institutional partner of the YCCS, has been confirmed as Main Sponsor of the regatta, in line with the brand's affinity with the nautical world.

The collaboration between the YCCS and Range Rover - brands that share values of excellence, elegance and performance - further strengthens their solid bond and underscores their joint commitment to promoting international sporting events that combine passion, innovation and respect for the sea.

Thirteen teams are expected to compete in the 52 Super Series - Porto Cervo - Range Rover regatta, with many of the world's top sailors battling it out aboard TP52 boats, 15.85-metre pure racers optimised, in this circuit, for racing W/L or on short coastal courses.

Following a third consecutive victory in the Puerto Portals leg in August, the American Magic Quantum Racing team extended their lead in the provisional overall standings, arriving in Porto Cervo with a 41-point advantage over second-placed Sled. For the first time since May, owner Doug DeVos will return to the helm of American Magic Quantum Racing in Porto Cervo.

Currently in third place overall is Andrea Lacorte's Italian team Alkedo powered by Vitamina. Making its debut on the circuit this year, Alkedo's strong third place is thanks in part to an impressive fourth-place finish in Puerto Portals, earning Lacorte the accolade of top owner-helmsman. The boat itself was the last Azzurra TP52, successfully campaigned until 2020 in the 52 Super Series by YCCS members the Roemmers family.

?The 52 Super Series - Porto Cervo - Range Rover is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the YCCS sporting season.
