The 25th Auckland Boat Show enters its second day at Auckland's Viaduct Events Centre and Jellicoe Harbour, with a steady flow of visitors through the front door of the Viaduct Event Centre and along the marinas and Pavilions on Wynyard Point.

This year marks a milestone quarter-century celebration of New Zealand's marine lifestyle, innovation and industry excellence.

Since its first edition in 1999, the show has grown into the country's largest on-water boat showcase. The Show has expanded, with substantially more exhibitors and boats than previous years.

There are plenty of innovative boats and products on display from yacht tenders, fishing gear, clothing to top of the range power yachts - as well as several marine publications from New Zealand and Australia..

This 25th anniversary edition brings together more than 200 boats, 150 exhibitors and over 500 marine brands, reflecting both the heritage and future of the industry.

Yesterday, the Show opened with the inaugural Women in Marine event - held onsite on Level 3 of the Viaduct Events Centre, followed by a live cross on Breakfast TV at 8.50am.

The MAST Academy hosted a School to Work Careers event Friday morning onsite, and The Magenta Project have teamed up with Aotearoa Racing for a 2 day weekend session onsite as well.

Visitors will see an impressive line-up of new boats, international premieres and locally built vessels, highlighting the strength of New Zealand boatbuilding alongside global innovation. Around 30 boats are available for on-water sea trials, giving prospective buyers a rare opportunity to experience vessels in real conditions before making a decision.

The Auckland Boat Show runs from Thursday 5 March to Sunday 8 March 2026 at the Viaduct Events Centre and Jellicoe Harbour. Tickets are online at www.auckland-boatshow.com The weather forecast is for fine weather all weekend - so take the opportunity to see a truly international boatshow right on your doorstep.
