This year's Metstrade, the world's largest trade exhibition for the leisure marine industry, will be the biggest show yet, completely taking over the RAI Amsterdam complex with new and expanded zones and conferences.

One zone that will benefit from this is the Construction Materials Zone with greater prominence in a new location in Hall 11.

Presenting the latest sustainable composites, bonding technologies, coatings, and 3D printing, it is the go-to zone for yacht builders, naval architects and interior designers eager to explore the future of materials and enhance projects with new products.

Within the expanded Construction Materials Zone, visitors will discover a unique area where products, skills, and expertise will be displayed, showcasing the latest innovations set to revolutionise construction.

This zone also provides an invaluable opportunity to connect with industry leaders and create meaningful connections with potential partners.

Collaboration with JEC

In addition to having a stand in the Construction Materials Zone, JEC will also organise two sessions at the Metstrade Stage in Hall 13. One will focus on the leisure marine sector's early adoption of composite materials and the future innovations of composites and new initiatives at all levels of the sector. Meanwhile, the second session, in partnership with the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA), will be on advancing circular strategies for composites with particular attention on current regulations and best practices.

Eric Pierrejean, CEO of JEC, said: "JEC participates at Metstrade to showcase the benefits of composite materials for the leisure marine sector. Our goal is to raise awareness of how composites can contribute to lighter, stronger, and more sustainable solutions through our dedicated conference sessions. Metstrade is a must-attend event because it brings together the full marine ecosystem, from suppliers to innovators. It allows professionals to discover new technologies, market trends, and opportunities for growth. This openness fosters valuable partnerships and drives innovation together."

Royal3D will demonstrate how advanced 3D printing can transform recycled materials into functional and forward-looking products in the Next Gen Zone, where sustainable leisure marine products and solutions are exhibited. Royal3D is also responsible for designing and creating this year's DAME Design Awards trophy which will be made from recollected plastics and repurposed wood from interior refit projects.

The Superyacht Coating Conference

Making its timely return to Metstrade is the Superyacht Coating Conference, organised by Metstrade in partnership with ICOMIA and SYBAss. Taking place on 18-19 November 2025, the conference is the premier gathering dedicated to the evolving world of superyacht coatings, bringing together a highly select group of industry leaders, technical experts, and key decision-makers.

The conference will offer an unparalleled platform to connect coating brands with the superyacht industry, providing exclusive networking opportunities and deep technical focus. It will address the most pressing topics in the sector, spark crucial dialogue, and deliver actionable insights.

Sessions will explore the latest developments in legislation, ISO standards, and sustainability, examine coatings from an owner's perspective, and present advances in coating inspection, advisor certification, and dispute resolution. The event programme will also explore future requirements in standards and guidelines, innovations in surface preparation, paint materials, and application techniques, as well as new coating-related legislation, AF coatings, and comprehensive quality assurance measures.

Niels Klarenbeek, Director of Metstrade, commented: "This is the most exciting Metstrade to date. With new and expanded zones and conferences for visitors to explore and learn from, everyone working in the leisure marine industry can find valuable inspiration and gain knowledge. The expanded Construction Materials Zone will showcase the latest innovations and cutting-edge materials, making it the ultimate global platform for construction industry leaders. Meanwhile, the Superyacht Coating Conference will provide comprehensive insights and foster critical dialogue on a range of coating industry topics. Last held in 2014, the changing landscape in the superyacht industry makes this a critical time to hold this conference again."

The growth in Metstrade this year reflects the desire for many businesses to continue to invest, adapt and futureproof their success - no matter their size or where they are in the world.

New to Metstrade in 2025, is a complete takeover of the RAI Amsterdam complex with exciting, revitalised zones, making it easy for visitors to experience a 'round the world' exploration of each hall in a continuous loop for the first time. With a larger exhibition area and over 1,600 exhibitors to meet from 135+ countries, spending more time at Metstrade to maximise every opportunity and to gain new industry insights will be time well spent.

Metstrade will take place on 18-20 November 2025 at RAI Amsterdam. For more information, visit: www.metstrade.com
