The wait is over - Ibiza JoySail 2025 is ready to set sail out of Marina Ibiza from the 18th - 21st September, reaffirming its status as the Mediterranean's premier end-of-season sailing event.

Now in its fifth edition, the regatta welcomes a stellar lineup of superyachts for four days of thrilling racing, breathtaking scenery, and the unmistakable spirit of Ibiza and Formentera.

This year's competition will feature a remarkable fleet divided across five categories. Returning icons like S/Y Moat, S/Y Gelliceaux, and S/Y Open Season -veterans of past editions - will be joined by first-time entrants including S/Y Esense, S/Y Cervo, S/Y Magic Blue, and S/Y Namuun, adding new energy and expertise to an already exceptional lineup.

In total, 22 superyachts ranging from 66 to 144 feet will compete, ensuring a spectacle of passion, performance, and sailing excellence on the water.

True to its founding principles, Ibiza JoySail champions the Corinthian spirit - where sportsmanship, fair play, and a shared love of sailing are more important than podium finishes. Here, boats don't need major modifications, nor do crews need to be expanded to compete, preserving a level playing field and an authentic sense of camaraderie. This ethos makes the event special both on the water and ashore, deepening the connection between owners, crews, and the islands themselves.

"The quality of the fleet and the level of competition this year promise an exciting edition. Our aim is to ensure every owner and crew enjoy an unforgettable sporting and social experience," comments Nacho Postigo, Race Director.

But Ibiza JoySail is more than just a regatta - it's a celebration of the island lifestyle. Held in September, when the wind and sea conditions are ideal, the event merges high-performance racing with Ibiza's signature elegance and energy. This unique blend has earned Ibiza JoySail a growing reputation on the international sailing calendar.

The event is powered by prestigious partners that reinforce its global appeal. Alongside organisers Marina Ibiza and STP Shipyard Palma, the Ibiza JoySail family includes world-class brands such as Southern Wind, Mangusta, and Michl Marine. Institutional support comes from Club Náutico Ibiza, Club Náutico Palma, Ibiza Town Council, and Ibiza Island Council, as well as organisations like the ORC and the Superyacht Racing Association (SYRA). Official suppliers include North Sails, Global Yacht Moving, Don Julio, Repsol, Roto Club, and Super Oh!, with further strategic and media partners such as Boat International, Diario AS, Superyachts Channel, and The Superyacht Group ensuring top-tier exposure.

"Ibiza JoySail is no longer just a promise, it's a reality. In just five years, we've established Ibiza as a key player of international end-of-season yachting scene. We're proud to welcome such extraordinary sailing yachts to our island once again," says Dani Marí, Manager of Marina Ibiza

With its unmatched blend of competition, community, and Mediterranean flair, Ibiza JoySail 2025 is set to be a true highlight of this year's global sailing calendar - four unforgettable days of yachting, lifestyle, and island magic.
