From winging in Tarifa to F50 racing in Cádiz, some of the world's best female foilers came together as Armstrong riders and SailGP sailors spent a few unforgettable days learning from each other and witnessing foiling at its highest level in two completely different worlds.

Each brought their own strengths, styles and perspectives to the water, pushing what the future of women's foiling can look like.

In Europe's wind mecca, Tarifa, Armstrong riders Annie Reickert, Naumi Eychenne, Olivia Jenkins, Sensi Graves and Olivia Sanchez caught up with SailGP Martine Grael, Jo Aleh, Liv Mackay and Tash Bryant as they swapped their F50 cockpits for Armstrong wing foils.

"It's been a fun learning experience winging with the pros, lots to learn, especially since it's not my main discipline." Martine Grael.

With diverse competitive backgrounds spanning from big wave surfing, kiteboarding, windsurfing, and sailing, they brought and shared unique insights and experiences shaped by a deep connection to the water.

A few days later, it was the Armstrong team riders' turn to step into the world of SailGP and sail the F50.

The team travelled north to Cádiz to catch the SailGP racing in action and tour the tech base. They got to see close up how Martine (a two-time Olympic gold medalist and the first female SailGP skipper) drives the F50 and where Liv takes her strategist position, giving them a glimpse into the high-adrenaline world of F50 racing.

"It's been really fun sharing and comparing experiences coming from such different backgrounds, and learning about the technical side of the impressive F50s," said Annie Reickert.

Inside the base, the riders stood in awe at the size of the F50 T-Foils. Manufactured in partnership with Armstrong Foils as part of our ongoing role as the official foil tip supplier of SailGP. Different in scale, but driven by the same foil-borne magic that connects both sports.

It was a special moment to connect these two worlds, sharing inspiration, learning from each other, and celebrating where the sport is heading next.
